Biography

Professor Wendell Patton retired in 2000, but still teaches an occasional course. Since he believes that biology is the best hobby, Wendell can often be found in the library or working on various projects in his office. He is always interested in talking about invertebrates, marine biology, coral reefs or Australia.

Courses Taught:

Dr. Patton has taught Animals and their Environment, Parasites and Immunity, Invertebrate Zoology and Marine Biology, in addition to offering the following seminar courses: Marine Mammals, Marine Fishes, Food from the Sea, and Coral Reef Ecology (at West Indies Lab, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.).
